If you need after-school care for your child, we offer a stimulating, well-supervised programme at ACG Sunderland - the Kids at School Care programme (KASC), which provides before-school, after-school and holiday care. This programme aims to make our families' lives easier and focuses on developing young minds in a safe and fun environment that meets the emotional, intellectual and physical needs of each child.

Kids at School Care Programme

Some of the activities available in the KASC programme include supervised homework sessions, arts and crafts, games, puzzles, playdough, foosball, outdoor games and Lego.

Children enrolled in the programme will be offered afternoon tea, which is provided at no extra cost. Kids at School Care aims to provide healthy eating options. 

The activities and equipment are for the exclusive use of children in the programme. 

Hours*:

  • Mornings from 7:00am to 8:20 am Monday to Friday
  • Afternoons from 3:00pm to 5:45 pm Monday to Friday

*Excluding public holidays, school holidays and teacher only days

Requirements for Attending the Programme

  • All children must be enrolled at ACG Sunderland to join this programme
  • All parents must sign in (before school) and sign out (after school) on the roll daily. Please ensure we welcome and farewell your child each day
  • Please notify any changes in who is dropping off or collecting your child
  • Children must be collected by 5:45 pm or emergency contacts will be called and extra charges incurred
  • Read our welcome letter which clearly explains how we operate
