Top in the World for Design and Technology

Congratulations to Year 11 student Henyang Li (Leo) who came Top in the World in IGCSE Design & Technology in the most recent Cambridge exams.

Top IGCSE student in New Zealand

The award is based on the best marks across five IGCSE subjects. David came Top in the World in IGCSE Maths (Without Coursework) and Top in New Zealand in IGCSE Physics. He also received A* grades (90% or above) in Chemistry; Biology; Music; English First Language; and Spanish.

Tessa Cavell

A trip to South America at the age of 16 has had a lasting impact on Tessa Cavell. Deeply affected by the poverty and suffering she witnessed on an archaeology and community aid trip to Peru, the Head Girl at ACG Sunderland resolved to become a nurse.

Last month, Head girl Bridget Archibald completed an internship with Labour Party politician Phil Twyford. For three days, she shadowed Mr Twyford at Parliament.
