When Amelia Carlyle Rowe (Milly) found out she had placed Top in the World in her Year 13 Cambridge Design & Technology examination, she was worried the examiners would email back to say they had made a mistake.
Chris, who graduated from ACG Sunderland in 2011 is now working as a software developer at Sustainable Solutions, a company that manages pharmaceutical logistics for developing countries. Their software mSupply is used in national drug distribution projects, warehouses and hospitals in more than 20 countries around the world.
Last year, James Newland, ACG Sunderland Head Boy in 2015, won an award for his role in a heroic surf rescue at Bethell’s Beach, after swimming out 300m in rough seas to help struggling swimmers. Now a student at Auckland Uni, he tells us what else he’s been up to.
